The Wildcats are back! Fans of ‘HSM’ are flocking to Disney+ on Nov. 12, hugely in part because of the premiere of the new show, ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’. Members of the cast came to the HollywoodLife NYC studio to chat about the exciting new series and share some behind-the-scenes secrets of how it all came together.
Here, Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Larry Saperstein, Julia Lester, Dara Renee, Frankie Rodriguez, Mark St. Cyr & Kate Reinders all smile wide ahead of our interview, where we discussed everything from the show’s premiere, to the unexpected romances, to perhaps seeing the cast take the show on the road after the season is wrapped. Of course, there is already a ton of buzz around the show already, as Disney+ picked up the series for a season 2 before the show even started streaming.
