It's the barbs vs. the army! Nicki is reportedly extremely annoyed with Rihanna after she broke Drake's heart -- and she's ready to approach her about it. No one messes with Drake -- at least that's how Nicki Minaj feels. At Summer Jam, Nicki danced all over Drake right in front of Rihanna, but the girls seemed to still be friends hanging back stage. However, a new report claims that Nicki's sick of Rihanna's attitude and the way she treated Drake, the man she recently said she'd want to marry!
Nicki Minaj’s Feud With Rihanna
“Drake has been pretty down since Rihanna dumped him,” a source revealed to OK! magazine. “She really broke his heart. Nicki wants to call Rihanna out on it. She’s very protective of Drake.”
Protective — and maybe a little more. Nicki and Drake have had flings over the years, and she even said that she and Drake will “run away” and “get married” one day. However, Drake has been on-again off-again with Rihanna for years, too!
“Nicki thinks Rihanna needs to step down from her pedestal,” the source added. This comes as a bit of a surprise to us since after watching Nicki jump into Drake’s arms on stage, Rihanna cozied up to her backstage at Summer Jam and they even posted a pic together!
Rihanna & Nicki: Will They Fight It Out?
So will Nicki and Rihanna go head-to-head? We’re not so sure. In the same interview that she said she wanted to marry Drake, she complimented the “Diamonds” singer.
“She fondled me at the MTV Awards and the America Music Awards,” Nicki told i-D. “I love her. She’s the best fondler ever.”
